Yvonne Mesecke and Marcel Lünsmann (both Hamburg) are the 2024 German Racquetball Champions. Mesecke defeated Renate Hartmann 12-10, 6-11, 12-14, 7-11 in the decisive game and thus secured her 14th individual title. There was a surprising pairing in the men’s final after No. 2 seed Arne Schmitz had to withdraw due to a cold. This year Lünsmann faced Ralf Klinke (Bremen), the German champion in 1990 and 1994. The final nevertheless ended clearly. A visibly tired Klinke lost to the younger Lünsmann 11-6, 11-6, 11-1. It is Lünsmann’s fifth individual title.
