Congratulations to Carolina Luque (Mexico) and Ernesto Ruiz (Bolivia), the winner in the women’s and men’s singles at the Hamburg Open 2024. Luque won the final against Renate Hartmann 11-6, 11-9, 11-2 while Ruiz defeated the defending champion and five-time winner Marcel Lünsmann quite clearly with 11-2, 11-7, 11-8. Together, Ruiz and Lünsmann won the men’s doubles against Moises Martines (USA) and Erich Dorsam (Costa Rica) and the women’s finalists also kept the other competition at bay and won the decisive doubles against Lindsey Lien (USA) and Jessika Marquardt (Hamburg).
