Majella Haverty from Ireland and Mario Mercado from Bolivia are the winners of the German Open 2024! Haverty defeated Carolina Luque of Mexico in a hard-fought final, and after already trailing by two sets, 12-14, 10-12, 11-7, 13-11, 13-11. Mercado defeated his compatriot and last year’s winner Ernesto Ruiz 11-13, 11-3, 11-3, 11-9 and thus secured his first European title at this year’s German Open.
