The 2026 Dutch Open and National Championships will this season again be held at the Bloemketerp Sports Club in picturesque Franeker, Friesland. Home to the wonderful sport of “Kaatsen” (handball) in the Netherlands, this club has graciously accepted our request to host the combined 2026 Dutch Open and National Championships racquetball tournament. This venue is about a 1.5 hour drive from Amsterdam Airport, taking you north across the beautiful ‘Afsluitdijk’.

Given that this tournament will be held on one court, the number of participants will be capped at 16 (for singles), and 8 teams (for doubles). INDICATIONS ARE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY AT MAXIMUM CAPACITY. THE TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS WILL TAKE INVENTORY OF SIGN-UP COMMITMENTS SHORTLY. IF SLOTS OPEN UP, WE WILL UPDATE THIS MESSAGE AND THE LIST BELOW.

Discounted prices have been negotiated for lunch packages (at EUR 17.50 pp per day). Sign up below for this option.

A group dinner will be held on Saturday evening, with a fish, meat, and vegetarian option for approximately EUR 30 p.p. Menu selection will be made available soon.
